Summary: unused with what look to be the original edges, an excellent example of an early model (mid 80's) 9” Sly II. The bead blasted blade finish with some spots on both sides as shown in the photos – the knife has definitely not been used so I’m not sure what caused them. The guard and bare tube with handling marks, I’m of the opinion that this knife was simply over-handled and not stored carefully. Old style compass in the skull crusher butt works perfectly, overall length of the knife is 14”.

The Sullivan sheath is in excellent+++ or better condition with a few scuffs front and back and a line at the throat from knife storage. The Jimmy Lile shop stamp is on the back, the original EZ Lap sharpener had some tarnish / verdigris on it but I was able to clean it up with good success. Original lanyards included.

7 photos for review -- as shown, a black canvas carry case is included. This is a nice / unused Sly II with a few cosmetic issues, one that would be great for the buyer looking to find a long bladed Sly II for survival use. A spittin’ image to the one I bought directly from Jimmy and Marilyn way back in 1983, Sly II’s are just awesome knives and no survival knife collection is complete without one. Thanks and good luck.
