Summary: this is a very nice "Old Yeller" Westinghouse micarta model 1-7 with a tool steel blade, forward curving brass guard and scalloped hardware. There is some clouding in the blade, to obtain max value it needs to go back to the Randall shop for a quick blade refinishing. One side of the handle material is a bit darker than the other, probably was on display at some point.
The Johnson roughback sheath is a beauty, this one marked 7 on the back with an unused yellow print Crystolon sharpening stone in the front pouch. Minimal knife storage marks at the throat and on the keeper strap, one look at the photos will tell you that it's in awesome shape and a total compliment to the knife.
7 photos for review – as shown, a new embroidered Randall carry case is included. This would be a great knife for one of you Florida collectors to buy, you could drop it off a the shop and let them work their magic on the blade. Once done... instant equity. Thanks and good luck.
