Summary: this is a 1950's Randall model #1-8 outfitted as follows: 8" tool steel blade, double nickel silver hilt, and nicely shaped thick stag handle. A duralumin butt cap and nut on the back end complete the knife. The knife is in excellent condition for it's age, used but still with a full blade. The blade has scratches and use marks on both sides, the guard with handling and sheath storage marks. You'll find some handling marks and dings on the butt cap, all relatively common for a used Randall fighter of this vintage. Overall, I'd grade the knife about a 7.5 on a scale of 1 to 10.

The brown-button Heiser sheath is in good shape and has been carried. The sheath is stamped 1- - 8 below the Heiser trademark on the back belt loop, you'll find an unused white print Norton stone in the front pouch. Sheath stitching is tight, overall excellent condition with handling marks front and back, and darkness at the throat and on the keeper strap. (from knife storage)

8 photos for review -- as shown, an old style black Randall Knives carry case is included. This is a fair deal on this old 1950's Randall fighter, quite nice with the nickel hilt and aged stag handle. Great for collection / investment purposes, it’d be a fun one to hang on your belt at the local knife or gun shows. Thanks and good luck.
