Description

Summary: this is a Lile Fighting / Combat Knife made around 1978. The blade is 7" long with LILE stamp -- the upper clip is sharpened back approx. 2-3/4". The knife is fitted with a double brass hilt, brass pins and stag slabs – overall length is exactly 12”. As far as Lile fighters go, this is an absolutely primo example. It's one of the nicest you'll find, near mint condition with nothing but VERY light fondling marks on the brass hardware.

The knife is paired with it's original sheath probably made by John Lamb. Excellent+++ condition with light handling and a bit of darkness on the keeper strap and at the throat from past knife storage.

9 photos for review – I'll pack / ship the knife in the new brown canvas carry case shown. This knife was part of the late Tom Clinton's collection, it will be near impossible to find a nicer stag handled example of this model in better condition. Truly a rarity, a perfect knife to tuck away for collection / investment purposes. Thanks and good luck.
