Description

Summary: a very nice looking knife made by James Behring, Jr. while in Michigan prior to his move to Montana. The knife is unused and the sheath never carried -- fit and finish second to none. The overall length of the knife is 12-7/8" -- the 8-1/4" blade is razor sharp. The knife has been fitted with a double brass guard, sweet looking long spacer stack, and pinned stag handle with compass. Condition is excellent+++ or better with just light patina and wipe marks on the brass guard.

The knife is paired with the original Sullivan stone pouch sheath. Plain salmon stone in the pouch -- the Sullivan stamp and “J. Behring, Jr. Handmade” on the back belt loop. Condition is excellent with storage and handling scuffs on the back and a line at the throat from past knife storage.

7 photos for review -- as shown, a new black canvas carry case included. All things considered, this is one hell of a bargain on such a sweet looking early (Michigan-made) Behring, JR. fighting knife… don’t miss the boat! Thanks and good luck.
